This course will enable the students to –

  1. Develop the knowledge of the jewellery design process and fundamental skills in drawing and rendering.

Introduction to Jewellery Design

 

CO19:  Design finishes, texturing, and patterning techniques to enhance the creativity along with mastering basic rendering techniques for a variety of metals. They will formulate design improvements to refine the production process, fostering skill development and enhancing surface decorations.

CO20: Compile comprehensive practical records detailing plans related to jewellery design across diverse institutional settings and cultivate verbal communication skills to converse effectively with examiners.

CO21: Contribute effectively in course-specific interaction.

Approach in teaching:

Interactive Practical Sessions, Field practical , Demonstrations ,Giving tasks, Workshop ,  Laboratory industry visits,  Group and Team work
