Objective: 

1. To create awareness regarding the right selection of textiles and apparel

2. To enhance the designing skill and its relationship with design & fabric

1. Collect variety of samples & classify according to texture, fibre, uses   30 hrs

2. Analyze the samples for:                                                              45 hrs

  • Identification of fibers
  • Identification of weaves
  • Fabric count
  • Color fastness
  • Dimensional stability
  • Crease recovery, stiffness tester
  • Identification of Blends

3. Suitability of variety of fabrics for ladies, children, men & household    45hrs
