Objective: 
  1. To impart the knowledge of Gemology   &  the use of various laboratory equipment such as the gemological microscope, dichroscope, polariscope, specific gravity balance, refract meter, ultraviolet light, spectroscope, and other instruments used in gem identification.

 

  1. To acquire a thorough knowledge of all precious and semi-precious stones and the ways in which they are used in jewelry.
